NOMI’S PASSION COMES FROM A DEEP DESIRE TO HELP PEOPLE BECOME THE BEST VERSION OF THEMSELVES; SHE ALSO HAPPENS TO BE A SCIENCE GENIUS

When Nomi was a student herself, she dreamed of becoming a professional basketball player. Known as the best athlete in her school, she lettered in 4 varsity sports, starting in her Freshman year. Her reputation preceded her throughout the country; no one wanted to play against Nomi because she knew exactly how to make her team win: by pushing her teammates to focus on their talents, and use each one to get a higher score on the court.

As she won championship after championship, she also begrudgingly did her schoolwork, shining in her STEM classes without much studying. She noted that although she achieved high marks in those classes, her teachers were not the reason for her success. Many were the opposite of motivating. Her friends struggled to understand concepts in Chemistry, Bio, and Organic Chemistry; she helped them, just as she did on the basketball court, achieve higher scores. 

In college, Nomi graduated summa cum laude, the highest possible honor, while majoring in Biochemistry and, of course, playing basketball. As a result of her talent and drive, she was accepted into the prestigious Albert Einstein College of Medical on full scholarship. Nomi’s mother, in particular, was exceedingly proud of her eldest daughter, not only for accomplishing academic success, but for doing so while helping raise her four younger siblings. 

When Nomi finished her second year of medical school, her mother was diagnosed with an aggressive form of cancer. Nomi made the decision - difficult as it was - to leave medical school and care full time for her mother. Nomi learned more about science and compassion during that time than in medical school, and when her mother passed away, she decided to lean into her natural desire to help people achieve the kind of goals she was able to reach.

Chromium Prep was the natural next step. On and off the court, Nomi is a coach. She was born to lead people to their destinies. For Nomi, watching her “tutees” get to where they belong in life, whether it’s medical school, dental school, PA or PT school, or even getting the “A” on their college exams… that is her purpose, and that is the story of Chromium Prep.
